Breyko’s 25th Birthday Session

I met Breyko earlier this year when she came along to Hoai & Huynh’s engagement session in Folsom. She is just the sweetest. She actually came along to take care of Hoai’s dogs since the couple wanted to have them in their engagement photos as well. Next thing you know, Breyko and I became friends on FB and IG. She kept telling me how love she loves my style and decided that she wants to treat herself this year by booking a photoshoot for her 25th birthday.

We started the shoot in Old Sac since she loves the yellow Tower Bridge a lot. Then we drove to a random road in Dixon to find a golden grass field for some sunset photos because that’s what she has always wanted.

And on a random road off of an exit it was. She made me feel so happy because for once, I am not the only one that got so giddy over a patch of dead grass.sacramentotowerbridgeoldsacphotographer-16

Breyko’s boyfriend came along so we got him into some of the shots as well. What a good looking couple they make. Seriously, in that golden field during sunset hour, it felt as though we were shooting an ad, (selling jeans and bohemian blouses.) sacramentotowerbridgeoldsacphotographer-11sacramentotowerbridgeoldsacphotographer-12

She sent me this after I sent her the proofs:
“I am so so freaking IN LOVE with them all!!!! Gah! You captured the dry dead grass that I see as something beautiful. It reminds me of my home town and the country feel atmosphere that I grew up in. Living in the city has definitely made me miss it but Sacramento offers so much culture and diversion which I’ve also fallen in love with. Thank you for dealing with not just one dog or two dogs but three crazy dogs. Lol. This makes my heart glow like these pictures of us out in the golden field.”sacramentotowerbridgeoldsacphotographer-13sacramentotowerbridgeoldsacphotographer-18

A couple days after her birthday, on the afternoon that she was free, Breyko stopped by the studio for some more fun. We called it our “Dollar Tree Shoot” because I got all of the props from Dollar Tree and we were going to see how far we can push this.

So true to herself, this girl showed up with blue Kylie Jenner lipstick.  Breyko saw the black tulle skirt and had to try it on. We both got super giddy once I start pinning the purple flowers onto her hair. Something felt so magical.

Oh yeah, we had a blast.

I hope you enjoyed it! Thank you for taking the time to check us out. If your birthday is coming up or you’d like to gift someone a really special gift, contact me to get started at 916-475-3346 or info@twotwentyphotos.com. Let’s brainstorm and start planning something fun soon!

Until next time,
