Last month, my friend Paula from middle school reached out and asked if I would like to be a Brand Ambassador for Cabana Life. I was thrilled because I thought only fashion bloggers gets to do fun things like these, not photographers like me.
After checking out their selections, I couldn’t wait to place my order.
There are lots of nautical patterns and I am obsessed with them. (I’ve been obsessed for the last 2 years and still am now.)
For the 1st outfit, I got something that I can work and play in:
navy shorts and striped rashguard.
The clothing came in really cute packages. I especially love the shorts because the color is so vibrant and they have an elastic band in the back. (You know, for those days when you ate a little too much, you can still breath in them.)
Since their clothing is made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex, it feels like you’re wearing a bathing suit around all day long, It is so light and comfortable. It also provides 50+ UV protection for my shoulders, neck and arms. This is super helpful because most of my portrait and wedding sessions are done outdoor.
Here are some behind-the-scene photos that my younger sister took of me when I was photographing Melissa for her lifestyle blog called Best Friends For Frosting:

For the second outfit, I got a coral dress in size X-Small.
The rash guard and shorts were both in size Small. However, I needed an X-small for the dress. The small size was a bit too long and a bit roomy.
(I am 107 lbs and 5 feet tall).
How convenient that the dress has a little pocket so I can put my phone. I was joking with my husband last night that this would be the perfect dress to go catch Pokemon in. The pocket is about 4 inch x 5 inch. I imagine it is large enough to hold a phone and a battery pack while you’re out walking.
(I downloaded Pokemon Go 2 days ago and I get so giddy each time I catch one. Story of my life, I’m only at Level 5 so I am super intimidated to go into any gym at the moment. I am afraid that I will get my butt kicked.)
So for now, I’ll just frolic around woods and skip stones in the river.
I hope you enjoyed seeing all of the photos. It is not often that I get to show off so many photos of just me on this blog.
Drink lots of water and get enough sleep.
When you go out, remember to use sunscreen and wear clothing that will help protect your skin against sun damage.
Thank you so much for reading. And Paula, thank you!
