Lai and James got married yesterday and Henry & I got to be there capture all of the beautiful moments.
They had a huge wedding party and we loved every one of them. There were 8 groomsmen, 8 bridesmaids, 7 flower girls and 1 ring boy. (Whooooo! I know.) We were really excited because everyone was so excited to be there and they were ready to get pictures taken. The couple got ready at the Westin Hotel. James proposed to Lai here so they wanted to have their formal pictures taken there since the location is so meaningful to them.
As usual, Henry photographed the guys while I photographed the girls.
Then we met up for the first look and the formal group photos. The lighting was perfect yesterday. We are super excited to show these off because the Westin has some really unique spots that gave us opportunities to create some really unique shots.
Lai got these blackboards and each of the bridesmaids wrote down when they knew her. I thought it was super cute
Since the Westin is so nice inside, we used the opportunity to create this really “classy” look. I told them, act like you’re rich and pose like you’re in a magazine. hahah.. It took some adjustments but I think this picture came out pretty darn good!
Again with the GQ look with the guys. I will conclude this with one of our favorite moments: the rug of war.
If you know me, you know that I love those action-funny photos a lot!
The funniest part about this one is that in addition to the bride and groom being pulled apart, you might noticed that one of the groommen’s hair was being yanked too! When he said that idea out loud, he should have known that I will run with it. =)
Have to get ready for my 3 fall photoshoots today but do stay tuned. More photos will be coming soon!
