Lynda and Sai got married at Morris Chapel yesterday and it couldn’t have been any more beautiful. Lynda looked like she walked out of a bridal wedding magazine in her lacy trumpet wedding dress, Badly Mischka heels and long cathedral veil.
At 10AM when we got to the University Plaza Hotel, Henry took off to photograph the guys while I went to meet up with the girls. I always start with the details shots first. Those are the shoes, the bouquet, jewelries, the customized hangers, the wedding dress, the rings and anything else that my bride put so much time and details into planning.
Then it’s time to take pretty photos of the bride and her entourage. The best thing about the University Plaza Hotel is that every room has these huge windows that give us so much natural light to work with. Here are more gorgeous shots at the University Plaza as the bride and her bridesmaid was getting ready for the big day:
Meanwhile, the guys are all done and out of the hotel room, ready to head out to Morris Chapel at UOP for the wedding ceremony.
The groom was all smile and ready. THE WEDDING CEREMONY:
It was really heartwarming when Pastor Clark asked both set of parents to come up to join the Lynda and Sai at the alter so the bride and groom can thank you for years of support that the parents have given them.
After the ceremony, the couple had a bubble exit. All of their friends and family lined up on each side to celebrate their union. The sun was shining warmly as they walked out for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Suriyan.
Before everyone left, we gathered them all for a large group picture:
Then it’s pictures with the groom’s family and the bride’s family: Once we were done with family and friend’s photos, we headed back into the church to take photos before the next wedding party came along. What I love most about Morris Chapel, dark as it is inside, it has a balcony that you can go up to. From there, you can get a full view of the ceremony that’s happening down below. It was these amazing stained glass windows that gives off the most beautiful light as well.
The best thing about Morris Chapel of course, is that it is located on the University of the Pacific campus. So there’s no need to go far to get really beautiful backdrops for wedding photos. There were 2 quinceanera parties there taking photos at the same time but it didn’t interfere with us at all. We just went to the side of the lawn and it is still beautiful and clean.
Look at Lynda and her shapely wedding dress. Isn’t she a vision?
Of course no wedding party session is done without doing some really cool, funny, gorgeous and action shots. So here they are:
Some Behind-The-Scene action here for you. (I know, I’m pretty good with those asian squat. haha..)

LET’S DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY:
Thanks so much for hanging in there guys! This was pretty long for a sneak peek, huh? It was really hard for me to narrow down and to decide what I should and should not show since there are so many gorgeous shots everywhere.
