Since the weekend is almost near, I thought I’d share with one of the most beautiful family sessions I have had the opportunity to photograph. This is TheDuong, her husband, Khoi and their daughter, Kat Kat. This session took place at the yellow wildflower fields we found in Starke, FL when I went to Florida last. Though it is a wildflower field, this was actually someone’s private property. They were so generous for letting everyone comes to take photos there every single year when the flowers are blooming. As you can see, this is a HUGE property for there there were fields and fields of wildflowers blooming everywhere. For me and TheDuong, IT WAS HEAVEN!!!
Earlier this year when I booked tickets to go home for my sister’s college graduation, I began researching for fields of flowers to take my clients to. Unfortunately there wasn’t any in Jacksonville where my parents live. But 1 hour outside of Jacksonville we found this dreamy location. When I proposed it to TheDuong, she was so excited for the opportunity to take pictures at a flower field that I HAD TO FIND IT NO MATTER WHAT!!!
What a coincident it was that her husband is already working in Starke as well and had heard about this field also.
After the family session, we took some romantic shots for the two lovebirds. I have the utmost respect for Khoi. During the whole time, he did not complain once about the heat or why I’m taking so many photos of his wife. When asked, he said this is the first time in 14 years and Mother’s Day’s coming up so he is for whatever that will make his wife happy.
Then it’s Daddy and Kat-Kat time while Mommy changes. I absolute love those genuine laughters when he was giving her a piggy back ride and her hugging him so tightly.
You cannot tell me that you do not adorable the following series of Kat picking flowers for her Mom. The blooming flowers are just like the smiles on their faces, so bright, beautiful and full of life.
The thing I love most about TheDuong is not only does she appreciate nature so much (like I do), she also appreciates history and culture. She loves to sing and recites poems. Her Instagram is always filled with positive quotes. I love her positive take on life. Maybe that’s the reason why we worked so well with each other.
Right before we parted away, we captured some more beautiful moments at a nearby road.
