High school graduation is an exciting milestone. It is the first of many major accomplishments that you will achieve. After high school, you and your best friends might have to part ways as you attend different colleges. It might even be the first time that you’ll have to move away from home and away from your parents. So let’s take time to document this major achievement!
This is Tina. I met her when I volunteered at the Vietnamese Community Center. She is a senior at Antelope High School. She is one of the cutest girl I know, so gentle and easy going. She has a super cute smile and she was definitely a good sport (because she let me pull to the side of the road just so we can take some photos with the yellow and purple tulips that I thought matched her shirt perfectly.
The lighting was perfect that Sunday afternoon. The leaves on the maple tree barely came out. They were young, soft and fresh. With a little coaching, Tina was perfect with all the poses. I also love how her hair glowed where the sun landed on her highlight.
Lastly, we stopped by a field of wildflowers just so she can run, jump and dance around in her dance uniform. The sun was setting, fast! I was so afraid that it’ll be dark before we get any good photos in but when I looked through my lens, there was this beautiful girl in her bright red dance uniform running toward the golden sunset. I called out her name and she swung around, almost in slow motion like those scenes in a romantic movie. Honestly, it reminded me why I love my job so much. I get to capture and share beautiful moments like these with the world:
